Andrew Flintoff has today been ruled out for the season due to injury, Freddie has been fighing back to fitness in a bid to return to action. But Flintoff today received a major setback after being told he will miss the rest of Lancashire's season. Freddie has been missing for the last 12 months after recovering from two knee operations and had to withdraw from Lancashire XI limited overs game on Monday."Whist Andrew has made significant progress, the combined opinion is that he is not quite ready for a return to cricket," Lancashire cricket director Mike Watkinson added.
"He will continue his rehabilitation into the winter months and we will constantly monitor and review his progress so that he is better equipped for a return to action."
